About me

My journey with yoga started in school, where it was part of our curriculum. We primarily practiced asanas, and because of my flexibility, I was often chosen to demonstrate for the class. Gradually, my teacher encouraged me to take the lead, guiding my classmates. This experience culminated in our performances on sports day and in me winning the state championship in yoga for the school.

After my marriage, and with the encouragement of my mother, I began my journey as a yoga teacher by enrolling in my first course in 2011. Since then, I have completed multiple certifications and continue to study with my senior teachers, embracing the journey of lifelong learning.

I have always wanted to share what I’ve learned and help others experience the beauty of yoga at the various levels I have encountered. This desire, along with the inspiration from my dear teachers, motivated me to start my own yoga school. After much planning, revising, and reimagining, Pragñā Yogashala was born.

Why the name Prajñā Yogashala?

To me, the name "Prajñā Yogashala" represents a dedicated space for learning and practicing yoga, where students come to deepen their practice and cultivate mindfulness. It embodies the idea of moving beyond the physical aspects of yoga (asanas) to focus on its spiritual and philosophical dimensions, guiding students toward personal growth and inner transformation.
